Sky Soundbox packaging goes single-use plastic free!
You can now say goodbye to single-use plastic packaging with the new Sky Soundbox. The packaging for the product has been designed to contain no single-use plastic whatsoever.
Instead, Sky Soundbox will be packaged in a box made entirely of FSC cardboard and paper. This means that all materials used have been sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible and economically viable manner. All of the materials used in the packaging can be recycled at your curb side, making it even easier for everyone to be an #OceanHero!
Last week at the EU Our Ocean Conference, held in Malta, Group CEO Jeremy Darroch announced that we at Sky have made a commitment to become single-use plastic free by 2020. The single-use plastic free Sky Soundbox packaging demonstrates a big step towards this goal. Reducing plastic packaging will help to save our oceans by reducing the amount of plastic that goes into them every day.
Over the next three years Sky will eliminate all single-use plastics from its operations, products and supply chains.
The Sky Soundbox is due to be released later this year. For more information, click here.
